Physiotherapist Andreas Henriksen - ART Provider Norway

Andreas Henriksen - ART Provider Norway

Manual Therapist Paul Henderson - Instructor Sweden

Paul Henderson ART Instructor
ART Norway /Moss spine 2010
As this was Norways first ART spine seminar that was held in Moss, I had the privilege to instruct on this course. I have been doing ART now for 7 years and out of those 7 years this has been one of the nicest courses I have been on.
I would like to thank ART Norge klinikken for a job well done, especially Nicolai who is the course organiser for ART Europe as well as one of our instructors. The standard of the course was really well done and all students passed there practical exam which for us as instructors felt great. It gives you a sense of satisfaction to pass valuble knowledge onto others as we are all trying to achieve the same goals and that is to help others.
I feel very privileged to be apart of the continuing education program that ART is doing especially in Norway. I feel it only looks brighter for future years.
Kind regards,
Paul Henderson, Sweden

ART kurs Moss mars 2010

Physiotherapist Ronan MaCarthy - ART Provider UK

Ronan-Mccartny ART Provider
I have been working in the UK as an orthopaedic rehabilitation consultant for nine years and currently work with many professional football players and Olympic athletes. I recently began to study the active release technique system as I was searching for a more efficient method of helping my patients get back to full pain free function very quickly. The results have been remarkable to the point where I do not know how I ever worked without these techniques and ART now makes up the basis of my practice.
My most recent course was the spine course which was held in Moss Norway where we were made to feel very welcome by the tutors and local population. Moss is well serviced by airports which made it easy to access from the UK and Europe. The course was held in the hotel where the majority of the students stayed which makes for an altogether better learning experience.
My confidence with treating patients has sky rocketed since my learning with the ART courses began.
Thank you.

Manual Therapist Martin Abraham - ART Provider Germany

ART Martin Abraham
In 2004 I had the unique opportunity to assist Dr. Micheal Leahy treating a popular Sheik in Qatar. He is the inventor of Active Release Technique (ART) which is a soft tissue
management system.
I was able to assist him and experience first hand the unbelievable effects this treatment has on the human body. Since i am using ART in my daily work as a Physiotherapist (PT). At the olympic Wintergames in Vancouver 2010 i had the honor to treat the athletes of the German National Ice Hockey Team.
I have been taking care of the team for seven years now and since i started using ART, i get a lot more satisfying results.
In order to achieve the Master requirements for a licensed ART practitioner you need to attend the following moduelles and pass the according exams:
Upper extremity
Lower extremity
Spine
Long Nerve entrapment
Master
I am very proud to be one of the few ART practitioners in Europe and hope to affect as many therapists as possible to be part of this specific soft tissue management system.
Martin Abraham, Munich Germany

Before the course I expected the ART to be like other soft tissue courses. However it is a very subtle technique which you can actually feel the tissues and structures you are affecting moving better under your hands. For me it was a lot less demanding than other manual therapy techniques and seemed to get the same if not better results but quicker. I also like the fact that it takes the vital role of the nervous system into account and gives you the tools to change the output and the ability of the nerves to slide. I would reccomend this technique to any manual, hands on therapists.
David O’Sullivan, Leeds Rhinos Rugby League Club.
“Active Release (ART) is without doubt the best soft tissue technique for muscles injuries and nerve entrapment’s. I use ART every day in clinical practice whether its Joe public or a professional athlete. The technique allows me to get the results I want time and time again. I would highly recommend ART to any health professional working in the musculoskeletal field. The seminar delivery is excellent giving the provider a solid knowledge base of functional anatomy, diagnosis and the treatment of soft tissue, occupational and sports injuries.”

”My shoulder was painful for many years after it was injured and then later operated. I’m a physician, specialized in physical medicine and rehabilitation. I have tried many different treatment methods for my shoulder. This with very limited effects, if any effects at all.
Active Release Techniques is an unique and effective treament method!
I was informed about Active Release Techniques after reading some articles about rehabilitation, and decided to give it a try. After a few treatments my shoulder was much less painful and the function was improved considerably. ART is an effective and unique treatment method. When injuries to the locomotive system are involved, ART should have a central place in the treatment regime.

Hotell Refsnes Gods has a corporate solution with an ART therapist from The Norwegian ART® Clinic. This gives the employees a physical and psychological lift in their daily lives. Some of the employees have actually said that they are willing to skip salary raises as long as we keep the contract with van der Lagen.
Many of us are managing the hectic working day better because we are getting professional help to lower our shoulders.
The sick leaves are less than it would have been without the treatments. The long term effects of the corporate solution are probably even more remarkable than the short term. This is because neck and shoulder injuries needs longer treatment time if not addressed at an early stage.

Lisleby Vask & Rens AS has now had a corporate solution with The Norwegian ART® Clinic for 2 years. Once a month the ART therapist comes with his equipment to the working place. The beneficial outcomes are clear. Sick leaves related to musculoskeletal disorders are considerably reduced, and the employees can hardly wait for the arrival of the ART therapist.
At first we were skeptical to this kind of treatment. Most of us have already had “regular” physiotherapeutic treatment. We highly recommend EVERYBODY to use Active Release Techniques for reducing the sick leave and of course, for reducing the musculoskeletal disorders by the employees.

AnalyCen AS has now had a corporate solution with The Norwegian ART® Clinic in Moss for 1,5 years. The ART therapist comes to the working place every second week. The employees are very positive to this agreement. The employees do not only experience the treatment agreement as constructive effort from the company, but also as an effective effort which reduces the physical complaints resulting from RSI. The beneficial effects of the corporate solution is of course also due to the ART therapist’s competence.
