Active Release Techniques (ART) for Chronic Neck Pain

Neckpain

Millions of people in the US suffer from chronic neck pain…which is neck pain that has been around for more than 3 months. The neck muscles have the difficult job of helping support the skull along with the cervical spine. Skulls are heavy…about the weight of a bowling ball. When the cervical spine is out of alignment the neck muscles have to work much harder than they should to support the skull leading to chronic muscle spasms and pain.

Sure professional athletes and dancers swear by ART…but there are way more regular folks that get it…especially those with chronic neck pain.
